Aaron receives a videotape in the mail. On the tape, a girl talks about looking forward to the ascension, Justin reminds Aaron that they left that group because it was a UFO death cult, and they were all just about to commit mass suicide.
They’re both very unhappy and going through cult deprogramming treatment. Aaron wants to go back, even just for a visit. Justin agrees to go, but just for one day and one night.
They’re welcomed back, and everyone seems very nice, very active, very healthy, and not particularly cult-like at all. Three days later, they’re considering staying.
Then they find something strange at the bottom of The lake. Was everything a lie? Was anything a lie? Is the lunatic talking about time loops as crazy as it sounds? Are there really three moons?
The cinematography and scenery are excellent, the acting is good, and the premise is interesting-The plot, however, is not. For the first hour, almost nothing happens. .IT just take way too long to get to something interesting.
