The Leaf-Blower Massacre (2012)
We start with lingering shots of dying trees with a child playing and leaves falling everywhere. We jump forward twenty years. A couple leaves a movie, and they’re being stalked by a guy in a motorcycle helmet and armed with a leaf blower. He beats the guy’s brains out with the leaf blower. From there, it gets weird…
The Leaf-Blower Massacre 2 (2017)
“When Autumn Arrives, No One Survives”
The killer from the first movie has a new girl tied to a chair. He slowly pulls the leaf blower down off the wall. he then proceeds to blow her mind!
A homeless guy goes dumpster diving. He finds Shavar Jennings, one of the guys whom the killer “killed” in the first film, but who has obviously survived. He goes home and finds himself having nightmares and hallucinations about the killer. Finally, the cops catch up with him to tell him they’ve found his fiancé’s severed hand, also that he’s the prime suspect in the killings.
From there, the killings start in earnest, and let me tell you, a leaf blower makes a nice round hole when someone gets impaled with one.
The film is a little slow-paced, but does have decent gore, and it does try to build a story around the original silly concept.
